2025 AFLW Team
Captain Kate Hore and vice-captain Tyla Hanks were supported by a leadership team of Sarah Lampard and Paxy Paxman, and an emerging leaders group of Maeve Chaplin and Eliza McNamara.

After missing finals in 2024, Melbourne recovered to finish second on the ladder. They lost their first final, but recovered to make a Preliminary Final, where they became the 26th side in a row to lose against North Melbourne. At the end of the season, Melbourne's inaugural coach Mick Stinear resigned from the job after 10 seasons.
