Highly sought after full-forward who had also been a target for Geelong, London was meant to Melbourne's key weakness in 1928 but seriously injured his knee kicking the ground on debut and didn't play again.
Remained on the list throughout 1929 but did not play another game. In 1933 he was cleared back to Sandringham.
