Midfielder with a soccer background, drafted after winning Best and Fairest at Gippsland Power in 2019. Fitzsimon appeared in the first two games of 2021 before dropping out of the side. Returned to play every game for the 2022 summer season, including the Grand Final defeat, winning a Rising Star nomination on the way. Fitzsimon played every game again in the 2022 spring season, winning a premiership.
After playing Round 1, 2023, Fitzsimon was out of the side until Round 6, then held her spot for the rest of the season. Signed a one year contract extension at the end of the season. After 11 games in 2024, she signed a two year deal keeping her at Melbourne until 2026. 2025 was her best season yet, playing every game for the year as one of her side's most important players.
