Gaelic footballer who joined Melbourne in 2022 at the conclusion of her season in Ireland. Mackin had previously been an All-Star in the Irish league. After breaking into the side in Round 4, the quick winger maintained her spot for the rest of the year, culminating with a goal in Melbourne's Grand Final win. She went on to play every game of 2023, and signed a contract extension to 2026 at the end of the year. Her 2025 season was affected by a knee injury in 2025 AFLW Round 2, which restricted Mackin to seven games.
Mackin's sister Aimee joined the Demons before the 2023 season.
