Former state junior representative cricketer, signed before the 2019 AFLW season under a rule allowing sides to list players who hadn't played football for three years.
Appeared with Casey Demons during the VFLW season, before debuting with the MFC AFLW side and playing every game for the season. Usually a defender, but kicked Melbourne's only goal of the Round 7 loss to Adelaide. Played every game in her second year and kicked another two goals. Lost her spot after the first six weeks of 2021, before returning for Melbourne's two finals.
Emonson was traded to Geelong at the end of 2021, as part of a multi-team trade that saw Olivia Purcell join the Demons.
