MFC Hall of Fame - 2001
Beginning his footy career with Mordialloc, Allica joined the Demons as a trainer and runner in 1962 under Norm Smith. He was introduced to the club by his old Mordy teammate Noel McMahen, who convinced him to join them instead of Hawthorn; Over the next 40 years he served in a variety of roles before being named to the club Hall of Fame.
In Round 6, 1974 Allica was reported by a boundary umpire for abusive language and suspended for eight weeks. He remains the only non-playing MFC figure ever reported for an on-field indiscretion.
He was made a Life Member in 1978, and inducted to the Hall of Fame as an unsung hero in 2001. With his health failing in later years Allica was reduced to acting as a water carrier
