From: Vermont/Richmond/Footscray

Midfielder/forward who debuted with four games for Richmond in 1922 before leaving to play with Hawthorn in the VFA. He then joined Footscray, remaining with them into their VFL years and adding 12 games to his total in the first season. Cleared to Melbourne in early 1926 where he failed to play another game.

Cleared to Bairnsdale early in the 1927 season, where he stayed through 1932 and served as captain/coach from 1928. He then played for Corowa in 1933 and 1935 to 1937, with a year at Sale in 1934.

He was also a professional sprinter, finishing fifth in the 1926 Stawell Gift.
