The heritage week clash was enlivened by a melee after which Matthew Whelan, Paul Wheatley and Daniel Ward were fined $1500 each. Nathan Carroll was found not guilty of involvement in the melee but Brad Green was suspended for a week for headbutting and Adem Yze fined $900 for abusive language.
The loss was the first of 19 consecutive outside of Victoria, a club record.
