New South Wales rugby and cricket player who travelled to Melbourne to switch codes in 1888. He had played two test matches for Australia the previous summer, and also played for New South Wales and Victoria for a total of 22 first class matches.

In July 1888 he left Melbourne to join St Kilda after being omitted from the side, and stayed there through 1889.
