Key position forward and former Under 18 All-Australian centre half-forward. Played the last three games of the 2018 season, then won the Casey Demons Best and Fairest in the VFLW.
Returned to play every game in 2019, kicking five goals. Also ever-present over the next two years, developing as a midfielder in 2021. After a hot start to 2022, Zanker failed to have a major impact for the rest of the season, but played in that year's Grand Final.
Zanker again played every game in the 2022 spring season, kicking a career high goal total and playing in that year's Grand Final win. Continued to improve as a goalkicker in 2023, equalling Kate Hore for most during the home and away season, then passing the captain's tally during finals. Kicked an equal club record five in Round 6 against Adelaide. Zanker was named on the interchange of that year's All Australian team, and extended her contract until the end of 2025 at the end of the year.
