Speedy midfielder taken with Melbourne's first selection in the draft. Debuted in the opening round of 2019 as a late replacement and goalled with his second kick. Injured his knee while playing for Casey midway through the year and didn't appear in the seniors again.
Sparrow played five games in 2020 before a broken collarbone ended his season. He was given a two year contract extension at the end of the year. Played the first four games of the season, until a period where he was the unused medical substitute six times. Returned to the side in Round 20 and held his side through to the Grand Final, winning a premiership.
In early 2022 he received another two year contract extension and retained his spot in the club's midfield throughout the year, playing all but one game.
