Continued to be a consistent member of the side's midfield in 2022, playing another 11 games including the Grand Final but missed the 2022 winter season after suffering a serious back injury in a training accident, fracturing her spine after slipping while lifting weights

McNamara returned to the side in 2023, playing every game for the year. Signed a two year contract extension at the end of the season.
