Drafted by Geelong in 2018 after being named an All-Australian junior, Taylor played 18 games across three seasons for the Cats before retiring. The midfielder returned to the Geelong VFLW team at the start of 2024, and was signed by Melbourne as an injury replacement player for Aimee Mackin. At the end of the season Taylor was given a contract extension for the 2025 season. Taylor played her first game in Round 9, then returned for three more games, including two finals, but was delisted at the end of the season.
